The Position

 

We are hiring a logistics specialist, who is responsible for the day to day management of the logistics function, ensuring cost effectiveness and timely management of the staff and shipment.He/She will be reporting to and assisting the Logistics Manager to organise warehouse resources to achieve company and department objectives.

We are looking for a passionate professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats. Comfortable in handling a wide range of operational and administrative duties and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the shipment process and co-ordinate fulfillment with the warehouse to ensuring on time and accurate delivery to customers
  • Liaise with courier company and other departments for daily operation
  • Monitor inventory level maintain records of all outgoing and incoming shipments
  • Help other team members to understand their roles in achieving company objectives
  • Build and maintain effective relationships and communication with team members, other departments, partners and customers
  • Verify invoices and monthly report reconciliation for finance department
  • Provide administrative and support, including: office and warehouse supply purchasing, verify staff timesheet, etc.
  • Support the recruitment and on-boarding process, train and educate new hires as needed

 

The Candidate

  • A degree or diploma holder
  • 1 year experience working in logistics/warehouse function
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Cantonese
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be detail oriented, efficient and self-motivated
  • Able to work under pressure with strong sense of responsibility
  • Great team player with excellent communication skills
